Our volunteer leaders include a monthly-meeting facilitator and the leaders of our working groups

Bob Zogg, Facilitator, Organization & Membership, Installer Relations

Bob is a founding member of the HeatSmart Alliance. He retired in 2016, after almost 30 years in energy-related consulting. As a consultant, he led numerous evaluations of residential and commercial building energy use, focusing on space heating and cooling, domestic water heating, and refrigeration. He has a BS and MS in mechanical engineering. Bob and his wife have lived in Carlisle, MA since 2012.

Steve Breit, Coaching, Operations

Steve is a founding member of the HeatSmart Alliance and dedicates much of his time to heat pump coaching and volunteering for the Alliance and MassEnergize. He retired in 2018 after a career in engineering management for high-tech companies, with software development and technology marketing as a common thread. Steve has a BS and PhD in engineering. Steve is a long-time resident of Wayland, MA.
Kyra Holland, Communications, Heatsmart Alliance

Kyra Holland, Communications

Kyra holds a PhD in Sociology from SUNY Stony Brook. She works as a speechwriter and a freelance digital content creator. She lives in New York City.

Tony Jagodnik, Technology

Tony is active in several local organizations that promote energy efficiency and renewables, including the HeatSmart Alliance, Solarize Mass Bolton, and Energy Efficient Bolton. Tony worked as an engineer and manager at Raytheon for 45 years, where he specialized in digital signal processing for weather radar, fault-tolerant computing, and traffic control systems. He has an MS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from MIT.
